A full denture is made when all teeth are missing.A partial denture is made to fill the gap left by a few missing teeth and clasps may be used to help secure the denture.Some people may need a denture adhesive to help hold the denture in place.
Regular dental check ups are a must to make sure your denture fits well and to check your gum, oral tissues and any remaining teeth. Over time dentures will need to be remade due to normal wear and tear.
This patient had some severe gum and bone problems, which required the removal of all the upper teeth except for the two front teeth.
A removable partial dentures was made that closely matched his remaining front two teeth. The result was a big improvement in his appearance
